Alliance for the Polyurethanes Industry
(API)

The Alliance for the Polyurethanes Industry (API) is a business unit of the American Plastics Council. API's members include U.S. producers or distributors of chemicals and equipment used to make polyurethane, and polyurethane product manufacturers. API consists of several groups that identify emerging issues and develop programs to address them. API encourages its members to participate in one or more of the issue groups. API promotes the sustainable growth of the polyurethane industry, in accordance with the principles of Responsible Care© , by identifying and managing issues that could impact the industry, in cooperation with user groups. Extruded Polystyrene Foam Association
(XPSA)

The Extruded Polystyrene Foam Association (XPSA) is an international trade association representing manufacturers of Extruded Polystyrene Foam insulation products and the industry's raw material suppliers. XPSA members are The Dow Chemical Company, Owens Corning and Pactiv Corporation, who collectively manufacture more than 95 percent of all Foam products sold in the North American market. XPSA serves as the industry's leader on product stewardship, conducting research to substantiate performance claims and promotes the benefits of Foam insulation applications. Polyisocyanurate Insulation Manufacturers Association
(PIMA)

The Polyisocyanurate Insulation Manufacturers Association (PIMA) is a national trade association that represents polyiso insulation manufacturers and suppliers to the polyiso industry. PIMA advances the use of polyiso insulation and is one of the nation's foremost industry advocates for energy-efficient practices and policies and had been recognized by both the Evironmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Sustainable Building Industries Council for advocacy and products that both contribute to this country's efforts to promote energy efficiency and combat global warming.
